Our First Year

The AQA Breaking Boundaries Programme was born out of the midst of a challenging time for education. Many children across the UK had been under restrictions and learning from home, The Galaxy Trust wanted to break away from standard online learning and began to offer an alternative approach for its pupils. We became an AQA Accredited Centre, which meant that we could offer an alternative approach to learning and broaden the subject areas studied. Children were given the opportunity to find learning opportunities that they would engage with. Many of our pupils enjoyed the variety the AQA Unit Award Scheme offered. 

We awarded certifications in areas such as; The Amazon Rainforest, Space, Basics in Personal Finance, Race and Ethnicity, Spaghetti and Marshmallow modelling, Woodland Walks, Designing a Logo and many more.
