The Remote Learning Offer from The Galaxy Trust

 

Most of our pupils returned to school full-time from September 2020.  However, all schools have had to make significant changes to their operations in order to adapt to the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. This has included delivering remote education to pupils at home including online teaching through Class Dojos, the Microsoft 365 Suite, Mathletics, Accelerated Reader and TT Rockstars/Pixl Timetables.  These are tailored resources for pupils at home and structured communication with pupils and their families. This provision gave pupils the support they needed in order to master the curriculum and make good progress.

 

A legal direction came into force on 22nd October 2020 stating that all state-funded school age children must be provided with “immediate access to remote education” should they miss school due to COVID-19.
